Description
2 x S2000A3 NPN power transistors.
The S2000 range of transistors are commonly used in colour television horizontal output applications and in the switching power supplies of colour televisions. The transistor has a maximum collector emitter operating voltage of 1500V and a maximum collector current flow of 8A. It is well suited to the high power requirements in larger screen CRT colour televisions.
This particular version is commonly used in Thomson / Ferguson televisions such as the 59P7 using the ICC5 chassis.
The S2000A3 is the non insulated version of the S2000 and has a metal back for a better thermal transfer to the heatsink. Please note however that a mica insulating washer must be used if replacing an all plastic version. The original S2000A3 may also use a mica washer depending on the circuit design.
