Description
Atmel original 24C16 16K serial EEPROM. This 16K EEPROM is supplied in an 8 pin DIL / DIP package for direct insertion to a pcb or into an 8 pin DIL holder.
The EEPROM capacity is 16K bits and this industry standard EEPROM is manufactured by Atmel a well know and established semiconductor manufacturer.
24C16A features:
- Low voltage and low power operation
- Maximum standby current less than 1uA
- 16 bytes page write mode
- Partial write page operation allowed
- Standard 2 wire bi-directional serial interface
- Schmitt trigger, filtered inputs for noise protection
- Self timed write cycle - 5ms maximum
- 1MHz @ 5V / 400KHz @1.8V, 2.5V, 2.7V compatibility
- Automatic erase before write operation
- Write protect pin for hardware data protection
- High reliability, typically 1,000,000 cycles endurance
- 100 years data retention
- Operating temperature range -40 to +85 degrees centigrade
